Ukraine Justice Watch: Exposing Human Rights Violations One Share at a Time.
“The forcible transfer of children is not only a tragedy—it is a crime under international law.”
— Rome Statute, Article 6(e)
Since the start of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, millions of innocent people have been displaced, and thousands have been killed or injured. This war has led to serious human rights violations, including the targeting of civilian areas, the forced deportation of Ukrainian children, and the widespread destruction of homes and infrastructure. Our campaign raises awareness of these violations in order to pressure international actors to take action and promote ways people across the globe can support Ukrainian civilians during this ongoing crisis.
Where To Start:
Learn about war crimes and international law.
Find out how you can help.
Read our proposals for global response.
The human rights violations that are taking place in Ukraine are not isolated incidents and raise important questions about the effectiveness of global systems that are designed to protect civilians during wartime. When powerful nations commit war crimes without facing any consequences, it undermines international law and weakens basic human rights protections that should apply to all people, everywhere.
Our goal for this campaign is not just to post statistics or headlines, but to create a meaningful and respectful space where people are able to engage with current human rights violations happening in Ukraine. Whether it is donating a few dollars, sharing a story, or starting a conversation with a friend, all of these actions add up. They help keep Ukraine in the global eye and build pressure for real change.
